Martha Smith was admitted to Baylor Garland Hospital on Friday to
undergo various tests to try to determine the cause of her recent falls
and addtional pains in her legs. I just spoke to her and she said she
was feeling better today. She had an MRI this morning and they have not
yet gotten any results from other tests that have been done. Please
pray these tests will clearly reveal to her doctors what is causing her
problems and give her doctors wisdom as to the proper treatments. Also
pray for comfort and peace for Martha as she goes through this period of
testing.
Lord, you are the God who gives and takes away, who shows us mercy and who metes out judgement. Only you can do this, Lord. You are the God who knits us together in the womb and who directs our paths when we're grown. To you be the glory!
Martha is suffering from leg pains and from recurrent falls, Lord. She is now undergoing testing to figure out what is causing this, but thus far the tests have not shown anything. Please give the doctors wisdom in knowing how to pursue treatment for her, and allow the tests to reveal the hidden cause. Yet not my will but yours be done, Lord, so if you will receive glory from this somehow, I pray that you will receive the glory and Martha will be a testimony to your mercy and grace. In Jesus' name, amen.
