DOYLE GATLIN

Doyle Gatlin, brother of Glen Gatlin, has passed away.  We extend our prayers and deepest sympathy to Glen and all the family.

God of power and majesty, you are exalted! Glory to you in the highest!

Let the ones who loved Doyle rejoice in his homecoming, and let them be glad that you are in control. Only you know the days you have ordained for us, and I'm grateful to know that Doyle's passing was not beyond your notice. Comfort those who grieve, and give them peace. In Jesus' name, amen.


We just received a text message from Nancy Gatlin, Glen’s wife, that DOYLE GATLIN, Glen’s brother, who has been in a coma for over two weeks at BAYLOR GRAPEVINE, is evidently passing away.
Please keep Doyle’s wife, Glen, Nancy and all the family in your prayers.

Glory and honor and power belong only to you, most high God! I thank you, Lord, that your will is made known to us. Thank you that Doyle will enter into his rest and behold your face very soon now.

Though we rejoice in his homecoming, those left behind will grieve his passing for their own sakes and for the sakes of those who loved him. Please comfort them and give them peace, in Jesus' name, amen.

Nancy Gatlin called with an urgent prayer request for Glen’s brother, W. Doyle Gatlin.

Doyle seemed to be recovering from recent open-heart surgery, but has had a relapse and has been rushed to the Baylor Grapevine Hospital.

We don’t know any details about his condition.  He is in the ER and will likely be transferred to ICU.

Please pray for quick resolution to this complication from surgery and for total healing for Doyle.

My Father in heaven, your name is exalted on high! Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven!

Lord, I do pray that your will is done in Doyle. Please, would you totally heal him from this complication brought on (seemingly) by his open heart surgery? I know that you CAN heal him; I pray that it is your will to do so. In Jesus' name, amen.
